Weekly Faves & Flops

Here are my faves for the week:

It Cosmetics Full Coverage CC Cream - This is my very favorite foundation. It is color correcting, contains an anti-aging serum and a SPF of 50. It doesn't settle in my fine lines and it's good with my dry skin. Highly highly recommend.

Mac Mineralize Concealer - This is good concealer, does it completely cover my dark circles? No. I haven't found anything that completely covers them, I have seriously dark circles and I can't tell you how many products I've tried to diminish them, cover them, make them disappear. Nothing has worked. So I just try to make them less dark. This concealer does cover blemishes and discoloration well.

NARS Light Reflecting Loose Setting Powder - I love this to set my undereye concealer. It does not settle in my fine lines and it does reflect light therefore helping to diminish my dark circles. This lasts forever too. I just use the product that is in the lid because you don't need much at all. I've had mine for at least a year and I'm not even halfway through it.

N.Y.C. Smooth Skin Bronzer in Sunny - This is my favorite bronzer by far and it's drugstore for less than $3, you can't beat that.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Diffused Heat - This is a beautiful blush, it gives your cheeks a perfect pink glow. Honestly you can't go wrong with Hourglass products, in my opinion anyway. While this blush is a bit costly, you don't need much so it will last you a long time.

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal - This is my favorite highlight. I've been using it for months and I've barely made a dent in it so it is well worth the cost.

Tarina Tarantino Fleur De Lash Mascara in Black Opal - I got this in one of my monthly subscription boxes and I really like it. It gives me volume, length and does not transfer under my eyes if I use it on my lower lashes.
Dior Creme de Rose Smoothing Plumping Lip Balm - This is hands down my favorite lip balm. I have the driest lips ever except when I use this. I love this stuff.

Lorac Pro Palette - I have used this palette a few times this week. I love the colors, they are super pigmented and blendable.

That's it for my faves and I didn't have any flops which is always a good thing. What are some of your faves this week?

Current Hair Products

Bain de Terre Passion Flower shampoo and conditioner - I love Bain de Terre shampoos and conditioners. This one is good for color treated hair. I love the smell of this one best. It's hydrating and leaves my hair smooth and silky.

Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque - If you have dry, damaged hair, buy this ASAP! I swear by this stuff. You use 2-3 times a week after shampooing. I put it on and leave it while I wash my body and shave. My hair is super soft and silky after using it. I will always have this in my shower.

It's a 10 Miracle Leave-in Conditioner - I've been using this leave-in conditioner for a long time. It's the best hair detangler I've ever used. It's also a heat protectant. I love the way it smells too.

It's a 10 Miracle Blow Dry Volumizer - When I first used this I wasn't sure I liked it so I put it aside and continued using Aquage. When I ran out of the Aquage and I decided to try this again and I loved it. It doesn't leave my roots too sticky and it smells heavenly.

Living Proof Full Thickening Cream - I have thick hair so I guess I really don't need this product but I had heard good things about so I decided to give it a try. I love it. I love how nice it makes my hair look after I've blown it dry. A little goes a long way. I have found if I use too much it weighs my hair down.

The Wet Brush - This brush is amazing. You use it on wet hair and it glides through so well that at first I didn't think it did anything. It literally went straight through my hair. I can't imagine using any other brush now.

The Shine Brush - This is the sister to the wet brush and is to be used on dry hair. It's great to use while blowing out your hair and helps control frizz.

Recent Vitacost Haul

I recently placed my first order with Vitacost, I wish I had found them sooner. Living in the rural area that I do, finding gluten free, natural, cruelty free products is not easy. The nearest Whole Foods is an hour away and with my schedule and health challenges, online shopping is my best friend. Plus Whole Foods is expensive. Vitacost is very affordable and has a LOT of products.

If you decide to place a Vitacost order, this link will give you $10 off your order. I also use Extrabux to get 8% cash back for each Vitacost order I make. Extrabux also offers cash back for Sephora, Ulta, Target and many other places.

Giovanni Facial Cleansing Towelettes - I have loved these and will definitely repurchase. They are gentle but cleanse well. I have very sensitive, dry skin and these have not irritated my skin at all.

Nubian Heritage Body Wash Coconut and Papaya - I love this body wash. I love the way it smells, its creamy and leaves my skin feeling hydrated and soft. I will definitely repurchase.

Organic Fiji Nourishing Lotion Pineapple Coconut - This lotion smells so good, like a tropical drink you would get on the beach in the Caribbean. It's thick and hydrating. So far I have only used it on my hands but a little goes a long way.

Alba Botanica Very Emollient Bath and Shower Gel Honey Mango - I haven't used this yet because I'm still using Nubian Heritage Body Wash but it smells wonderful.

Alba Botanica Very Emollient Body Lotion Maximum - I haven't used this yet because I'm finishing up my L'Occitane shea body butter.

Alba Botanica Hawaiian Body Cream Kukui Nut - I haven't used this yet either but it smells wonderful.

Spry Chewing Gum - I love this gum and I've already ordered the bigger size with 100 pieces. I like that it's sweetened with xylitol instead of aspartame.

Life Extension Mega Benfotiamine - I just started taking this to help with my fatigue due to Hashimoto's disease. I can't say I've noticed a difference yet. This article explains why I decided to give it a try.

Showstopper by Mac

Colors shown from left to right:  Oh My Darling, Jest, Mineralism, Showstopper

These are the eyeshadow palettes I always go back to. As you can tell I'm drawn to warmer colors versus bolder colors, I'm just not that adventurous!

Etsy Pretties: Jewelry Edition

This Sea Serpent ear cuff is so cool!

These Lotus Birthstone Earrings are perfect gifts for August birthday girls.

These customized hammered necklaces are so simple but that's why I like them. They come in silver, gold and rose gold.

This Key to My Heart lock and key necklace is delicate and very different from anything I've ever seen before.

I love this Medical Alert Bracelet, who says you can't be trendy and safe at the same time?

This Latitude Longitude coordinates bracelet would be a perfect anniversary gift, you could use the coordinates of the location of your wedding. There are all kinds of possibilities, maybe use coordinates for a special place that you've vacationed or the place you call home. I think its a cool way to personalize jewelry.
